AyeMac only rent their properties to students.

All our properties are avalible to rent throughout the academic year, normally from 1st August each year.

Ideally we prefer to rent our Townhouses to single groups of 9, however ocassionally we do let them as house shares to seperate tenants.

Selection of Tenants

If you are interested in renting one of our properties, each prospective tenant will require to complete a Tenant Application Form and in addition pay a £100 holding fee, which will hold the property for them whilst satisfactory references and guarantor checks are completed.  This fee is then put towards the first months rent which is payable in advance upon the date of entry.  If a tenant does not proceed with the tenancy this fee is withheld to cover admin and further marketing costs.

We require our tenants to provide a UK based Guarantor and a satisfactory reference from a previous landlord/University or professional person who has known you for at least 5 years.


All our student properties are offered for let under short assured tenancy legislation.  A minimum lease period of six months will be entered into and Prior to signing the lease a Form AT5 will be completed in accordance with Government requirements


Our deposits are the equivalent of one months rent plus £75 per tenant and are lodged as per regulations with an approved Rental Deposit Scheme for the duration of the tenancy.

Rental payments

Rental payments are payable to AyeMac Properties via direct debit.  We do not accept standing orders, personal cheques or cash payments.

Rent is payable in advance on 12th of each month for our flats and 19th of each month for the Townhouses.

If the tenants moving in date is prior to their rental date, they will pay the apportioned amount from their moving in date till the rental payment date at which point the following full months rent will be payable.
